Life is a Canvas…

"Creativity is your birthright. It shows up best when you consciously decide to allow it, notice it, nurture it, and create a structure to contain it and manifest it physically. This structure might be a 2-hour writing period each day, a 30-minute meditation, or journaling your dreams every morning." Christiane Northrup, M.D.

If you have NO idea where to begin…or…are convinced you lack even an ounce of creativity, think about what you enjoyed at the age of 9,10, or 11…this is a brilliant starting point. Pablo Picasso said, "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."

Look at who surrounds you — friends are a direct reflection of ourselves. What are their strengths, passions, dreams? Discover what makes you truly happy. Even if, at first glance, it doesn't seem the most practical outlet, muse upon it during the day and dream about it at night. Your intuition WILL step in, translate, and inspire you.

And if all else fails, ask yourself this: If I had to be a verb, what would it be?

I…CREATE. WRITE. COLOR. INSPIRE. MOTHER. DREAM. LOVE.
