Prosperity and your…stove?

In feng shui, the stove (as well as your kitchen) is considered symbolic of wealth and prosperity. The connection is if you are blessed to have the means to feed mouths, you must be wealthy. And the more you lavish on others, the more successful you are. In terms of our global community, there is actually much truth to this belief.

SO… if you have ever debated whether to learn how to cook OR wondered if it is time to kick your meals up a notch, allow me the answer. YES! YES! YES! The kitchen seems to be the gathering spot in most homes. Use this space as an opportunity to connect with your family and friends while generating some good feng shui. Use all the burners on your stove as much as you can – they represent money. If you find you only use 1 a day, rotate throughout the week. Keep your stove sparkling clean (who needs dirty finances?), and be mindful of the space around it as well. Clutter doesn't work well anywhere, but you really don't need it around your stove. And lastly, find some beautiful cookbooks to keep out in your kitchen that beg to be opened and explored. The more reasons you find to feast, the more you will "stoke" your prosperity!
