simple shui, from A to Z
I LOVE noticing patterns – in fact, it is a perpetual fascination for me when it comes to shui.
I also LOVE when patterns emerge in 1:1 consultations, student Qs and curiosities among the simple shui community, which led me to writing out a list of topics that I tend to return to over and over again. so, in the spirit of familiar findings and favorite things, here’s my A to Z of shui…
A is for arrival because your front door is telling us a lot about how you meet life.
B is for bird feeders because why wouldn’t you invite a little more plucky luck and cheer into your day?
C is for command because if I walked into your home tomorrow, y’know this is one of the first things I’m checking, right?
D is for delight, which is ridiculously overlooked when it comes to Feng Shui ‘adjustments’ I hear *out in the wild!* like, what is the point if some of the shui is not going to light you up like a 1000-watt chandelier?
E is for energy because how you feel in your space is EVERYTHING.
F is for fresh flowers – part welcome committee, part mood booster, and part reminder that you deserve good things right here, right now, please!
G is for garage because if you show me yours, I’ll show you where your motivation ‘might’ be stalling out.
H is for HUZZAH and HALLELUYESSS! not technically Feng Shui terms, but they should be!
I is for “I’m So Worth It” moxie – the kind that buys the flowers, paints the closet, lights the fancy candle…just because, babes.
J is for JOY, which is an entirely acceptable reason to move the furniture out of the way and dance! because as you shimmy around the room, all that movement is sure to unleash some!
K is for kitchen because wealth is stimulated by our consciousness of abundance, and this is one of the easier places to keep things ‘full.’
L is for light, which is usually a home’s most underutilized luxury.
M is for ‘mouth of chi’ – and still one of my favorite Feng Shui phrases.
N is for nature because mama nature will forever remain ‘zee best shui teacher we will ever have.

O is for open space – if you want to welcome in something new, you can only roll out that red carpet after you create room!
P is for predecessor chi, and sometimes that predecessor energy that needs clearing is YOURS.
Q is for questions because curiosity is forever my kind of trend.
R is for ‘razzle dazzle’ – my official design principle of summer 2026.
S is for space clearing, or the art of helping your home exhale. if you’ve been curious about it, this has your name on it.
T is for twinkle lights because, in the world according to AGP, you can never have too many!
U is for unfinished projects because what are these costing you energetically? now, multiply that by every. single. day.
V is for vases – my favorite AS IF statement. never underestimate the power of being ready to receive flowers.
W is for windows because they are the eyes of your home; they frame your perspective; and they literally let the light in.
X is for ‘X marks the spot’ because one meaningful object placed with intention beats twenty random ones.
Y is for yin – the energetic medicine many high-achievers are desperately missing.
Z is for ‘zhuzh’ – the difference between “fine” and “halleluYESSS.” xo
