3 ways to foster abundance at home!
an abundance of things does not equate to an abundant life.
abundance begins when we have what we truly LOVE, use, or need – and that’s a conversation worth having regularly in our homes. a few ways to give this a GO right now:
figure out where your house plays hardball most by getting honest about what creates constant agitation. this could be constant piles on the floor, a messy desk, a cluttered garage, or those countertops that seem to be paper magnets. eliminate the commotion until that one space lifts your mood!
pretend you’re moving. pick a closet or bookshelf, pack it up in a box, and let the open space breathe for a week. when you’re ready to take everything back out, set this one intention: to cultivate delight. pay attention to what brings instant satisfaction and wonder unpacking it. also, notice anything that smudges the joy. first impressions matter so don’t dismiss them! they are the litmus test for what still creates sparks in your home. hold on to what lights you up, and reward it with prime “real estate.”
if you are storing never-been-used things, find a way to use them now. and if you can’t, explore the fear +/or worry behind why you’re holding onto them. when we hoard stuff for years, we squander some of our best energy. surrender those ambivalent what ifs, and e’rrryone will feel better for it! xo
