red is associated with good fortune, prosperity an red is associated with good fortune, prosperity and happiness. it is also symbolic of blood and life force. this hue also stimulates good chi which expels inauspicious energy. and because it is the color associated with Fire, we cam deliberately work with it to rev up courage and confidence – the kind that gets noticed! so, if you’re in the mood to stir up a few lucky opportunities, red is the gal to get you warmed up and ready for action.

you might…

splurge on a few bundles of crimson flowers and punctuate your space with this “red-iness”!

woo the sizzle (back) into your love life with a pair of red candles in the bedroom.

write your goals in red ink, and place a pointed quartz crystal on top of them. (this combo amplifies their energy and expedites their fruition.)

work with the 9 red tea light candles ritual to fire up and draw attention your way. (you can find those instructions over on the blog or watch my reel titled: The 9 Red Candle Ritual.)

place 9 coins in a red envelope, and put them under the front door mat to symbolize money walking into your life.

and if you really want to glam it up, grab a few red ribbons (I encourage ribbons measured out in an increment of 9 – like, 9 centimeters or inches) and tie them to your indoor plant or tree branches. just be sure to do this with a corresponding intention so that this “ornamentation” is working in your favor! (by the way, this is a client FAVORITE and one they keep working with long after our consult wraps!) xo
one of my favorite ways to cleanse and uplift the one of my favorite ways to cleanse and uplift the energy in our home is with @studiosandoval’s Transcend (Sacred + Clear) Aromatic Incense. these two distinct powder incenses each possess their own impressive restorative medicine to *power wash* and clear out *expired* energy lingering in a home so that the good stuff happening in our lives has room to flourish!

so, how about a quick peek into how I keep company with this power couple…

I put a few small scoops of Sacred into a selenite bowl, sprinkle a little of the Clear on top, and pinch the powder into a ridge before lighting the powder. once the incense is lit, all sorts of magic begins!

curious to unleash this power duo in your surroundings? use the code TRANSCEND25 (over at studio sandoval.com), and you’ll save 25%! trust me, that’s an *oh my my, so much YES!* xo
did you know one of the first things I do in a con did you know one of the first things I do in a consult is ask Qs – and that’s before I’ve even walked a home or space. I can’t possibly determine where to start without identifying objectives, assessing expectations, and understanding the situations a client faces. the answers almost always dictate where we begin — not some template or formula. so, in that spirit, here are a few Qs you can *borrow* that have more bandwidth (for making BIG shifts happen) than you’d expect:

Q1: “what in this space is representative of where I want to be in 2-5 years?”

living with what you LOVE includes working with your home as a vision board. ask yourself: what would I like in the forecast for myself? once you know, incorporate more visible or palpable proof of that energy in your surroundings — and then you can whistle while your shui goes to work!

Q2: “does anything distort observations of myself +/or the experiences I’ve had?”

we often find *proof* of this in our closets — the WHAT IFS, the artifacts of stories we’d like to move past, +/or the visual insistence that change isn’t possible for us. let go of those items, and the energy promoting those sabotaging beliefs loses velocity.

Q3: “what holds my attention hostage from where I really want to focus my time / my energy / my resources?”

clutter is often procrastination in disguise — and remember, clutter can show up dressed in all sorts of ways.

Q4: “is there anything in this space “holding me back?”

pay cautionary attention to the stories you hear as you consider what surrounds you. everything is energy, and everything is connected so any story you don’t like is waging influence in your life.

we dive into this home conversation in my course, so if you’re leaning in and taking notes, grab the link in my bio and get yourself a seat! we have a live Q & A next week, so it’s the perfect way to cannonball your way into shui and finally getting started! xo
in the spirit of our 99th tip (WHOA!), here are 9 in the spirit of our 99th tip (WHOA!), here are 9 ways to shui under 5 minutes…

make your bed = first success of the day, or what I like to call ‘starting the day off on a chi high note!’

open the windows = “out with the old, in with the new!” – a good wind-wash is one of the easiest way to clear energy out there!

dust your plants’ leaves = if they breathe easier, so do you!

keep the toilet seats down = protects wealth energy, need I say more?

replace a burned-out lightbulb = keeps you from feeling burned out, and it ensures you’re not “in the dark”!

get rid of something broken or struggling – you don’t want to be under that kind of influence, do you?

give your front door mat a good shake – this is where opportunity lands, so make it feel welcome and invited!

sprinkle some salt in your wallet = salt attracts energy, and your wallet is a home to money. or, in other words, MFEO!

name 9 positive things you can see right now – appreciation “appreciates” and that kind of chi compounding in your surroundings is a very good thing! xo
one of the Qs I was asked over @livingetcofficial one of the Qs I was asked over @livingetcofficial was “how can you increase prosperity (with a mirror)?”

the easiest answer I have – as in, I think almost anyone can do this one – is place something that suggests abundance to you in front of a mirror to double that likelihood and inevitably in your life.

and one of the simplest ways to do that is with a bouquet of fresh flowers or a plant.

when it comes to fresh flowers, think of every excuse we typically exert to not buy the flowers – they’re too expensive; it’s too indulgent; there’s not a special occasion for them; they don’t last long enough – and you realize we are hesitant to suggest abundance for the sake of abundance in our homes. (see my last post!)

this is why I LOVE placing them in front of mirrors – it really doubles that presence of prosperity in our homes. and remember, our homes are holding influence over us, so that’s excellent energy to be stepping yourself in daily.

when it comes to plants, they suggest growth, “breaking new ground” and “reaching new heights.” so, when we take a plant associated with money – like a jade plant, African violets, or even a money tree – and place it in front of a mirror, we are doubling that orchestration of financial opportunity and possibility in our lives.

I like to think of these “environmental metaphors” like accountability partners (reminding us of our intentions) and cheerleaders (making us feel good when we see them).

on the flip side of this conversation, it is important to equally be mindful that we don’t have anything struggling, frustrating, lackluster, suggestive of “poor me”, or clutter being reflected in the mirror; otherwise, that is the energy being doubled in our homes (and lives).

give last week’s episode a listen to learn more – or jump into my course and take what you thought you knew about shui to a whole new level! both links are in my bio, fancy faces! xo
