    your front door sets the tone for *everything* tha your front door sets the tone for *everything* that enters your home, which is why your shui should start here. in Feng Shui, we call it the mouth of chi – the place where opportunities, possibilities, and luck are welcomed into our lives. I’m sharing 30 of my favorite ways to CHARM your front door to entice a little good fortune your way. ✨however, you don’t need to do all 30. pick 3 that speak to you. maybe it’s a good sweep and a little cinnamon magic. maybe it’s finally fixing that squeaky hinge or making sure your porch light works. maybe it’s simply remembering to USE your front door every day. a little attention + a little intention go a long way. and if you’re taking notes, you really should be inside The Simple Shui Course. because lists like this are just the beginning. inside the course, we connect the dots between your surroundings and the life you’re creating – so you understand not just WHAT to do, but WHY it matters. save this one for your next front door refresh, and find *The Simple Shui Course* through the link in my bio. xo
    let’s give our WEALTH corners a little love, shall let’s give our WEALTH corners a little love, shall we? ✨ in Feng Shui, Wealth isn’t just about money. this area of your home also represents prosperity, blessings, well-being, your money mindset, and most importantly (IMO), your sense of worth. so, here are 6 ways to activate its energy: 01 / group 4 rosemary plants. my first mentor, Ellen Whitehurst, taught me that rosemary symbolizes female financial strength + independence. four is the number associated with Wealth, and grouping plants together encourages networking energy. 02 / add moving water. water symbolizes fortune, so a fountain or imagery of flowing water can help reinforce the intention of prosperity *flowing* into your life. 03 / hang a metal wind chime. metal represents coins, and every time the chimes sing, consider it a little reminder that abundance is being replenished. 04 / clear clutter + broken things. especially anything that carries a “poor me” or “never enough” story. shui is metaphorical, so pay attention to what your belongings are saying. 05 / bring in fresh flowers. wealth begins with your consciousness of abundance. small rituals that say “I’m worth it” can be just as meaningful as traditional shui adjustments. 06 / make way for abundance. pay attention to how chi travels through your home. if it’s hurdling clutter and distractions before it reaches your Wealth corner, give that pathway some breathing room. WHERE IS YOUR WEALTH CORNER? using the front-door Bagua, it’s the back left-hand area of your home when you’re standing at the front door looking in. in Compass shui, Wealth is associated with the Southeast. and remember: these are symbolic ways to support your intentions, not guarantees of financial outcomes. ✨ save this for your next little prosperity refresh! xo
    cinnamon is easily one of my favorite simple heavy cinnamon is easily one of my favorite simple heavy hitters in my shui bag… when I started exploring its influence a years ago, I learned for myself why it’s a POWERHOUSE at bringing money, wealth, and prosperity into our lives! even better? it also keeps unwanted energy out of the way, so it has protective qualities, too, which makes our space inviting to spiritual helpers and allies. here are three of my favorite ways to work with it at the front door: 01 / a little money magic: stand outside your front door, place 3 pinches of cinnamon in your palm, and blow it toward / inside your front door. 02 / a little peace of mind: when clients are feeling insecure, I encourage them to place a few cinnamon sticks near the front door – in planters, under the mat, or tucked into porch corners. 03 / a little dab. a dose of possibility: give your “mouth of chi” some monthly TLC! using a small makeup brush or a cloth, dab a little cinnamon oil onto your front door to woo and welcome prosperous opportunities your way.     WHERE clutter collects in your home can be just as WHERE clutter collects in your home can be just as interesting as WHAT you’re holding onto. in Feng Shui, different spaces have different energetic associations — so when I walk through a home, I’m paying attention to where things accumulate, what those spaces represent, and what might be happening in the clients’ lives. for clarification, this doesn’t mean a messy bedroom is causing your relationship problems or a cluttered garage is keeping you from moving forward, but… it DOES give us another way to look at the places where things keep piling up, especially when you find yourself clearing the same spot over and over again. 🤔 sometimes clutter is just inconvenient; and sometimes it’s an invitation to get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. because clearing it isn’t just about making room in your house. it’s about making room in your life. xo
