grab your broomstick!
it’s time to grab your broomstick, and mix it with one of these!
TIP ONE: add a little cinnamon oil to your broom and sweep your porch and the path to your door.
this fall powerhouse woos money, wealth, and prosperity into our life, so I LOVE using cinnamon at the front door to remove energetic blocks that prevent money (income and customers) from coming in.
alternatively, you could stand outside your front door (or office door), put 3 pinches of it in your hand and blow it toward (and into) the door. if you are worried about pets / staining / etc., you might…
dot your “mouth of chi” with cinnamon oil to woo and welcome prosperous opportunities your way! I typically take a small makeup brush (a Q-tip could work in a pinch) and brush a little cinnamon oil on the door itself, making an “8” or infinity sign.
TIP TWO: take a handful of bay leaves and crumble them up. sprinkle them along the floors (throughout your space) and in the corners – where the floors are bare – and then sweep them up from the back of your home to the front.
bay leaves are believed to be protective and healing. they also help heighten our intuition, so they are great way to clear out the negative and set the tone for something new to come your way!
TIP THREE: sprinkle coarse salt (sea, rock, etc.) – on your porch, in your entry, in your garage, or whatever space makes the most sense for you. use your broom to sweep it around, and once it’s been ‘scattered’, sweep it all up. as you do, intend for the salt to take any lingering low chi with it. once you have it all swept in a pile (into your dust pan), flush it down the toilet.
simple shui tip: as you do this, think to yourself, “when there is salt, there will always be money.” xo
