house therapy | first impressions matter

unless someone has told me about a book, unless it’s an author I’ve read before, unless it’s a topic / story that is what I’m looking for…

I am totally going to judge a book by its cover if I am walking the book store.

the thing is – we are all totally susceptible to first impressions, and yet, the way it happens is almost imperceptible.

it’s why what’s happening around you matters – but maybe even a little more than you think.

now, one of the most common things I hear – or my family hears – when someone learns what I do is “Oh, if you saw my house…” and they insert whatever they think I would find disagreeable to shui. for some reason, there’s this misguided notion of stereotypes that suggest of your home isn’t “zen”, it ins’t Feng Shui agreeable.

if you’ve been listening to this podcast, you know that Feng Shui is not a one-size fits all wisdom. you knwo that it helps us no matter our home, our lives, our beliefs, or our challenges…

and the ‘chaos’ – whatever you think it is – isn’t what’s going to get my attention…

what’s going to get my attention is usually the correlation between what’s happening in your surroundings and how that could be getting in your way. in this week’s episode of House Therapy, I am sharing what does grab my attention…and why, so give it a listen! and if you enjoy the show, please leave us a rating and review because I always notice those! xo
