inspired by Williams-Sonoma…
I adore simple.
so, when several things converge to improve my home’s energy – and it’s simple – I’m hooked! and that’s exactly what’s brewing today!
some of you are probably familiar with the Williams-Sonoma scent – it’s a little concoction made of rosemary, lemon and vanilla all in a pot of water simmering on your stovetop.
what you probably aren’t thinking about, though, is everything percolating here.
let’s discuss:
anytime you stoke your stovetop, you are, essentially, bringing to life available resources – so, any reason to use the stovetop is usually a good one!
in shui-speak, moving water is suggestive of money flowing, so a pot of simmering water is enticing abundance your way.
and you can cleanse (and invite) chi in a home through scent, which is why I am a BIG fan of a good home brew. (if you’ve been a subscriber for a while, you know I LOVE sharing this blend every now and again.)
since we’re heading into spring, though, this is the one I will have on repeat here:
two lemons, sliced
2 sprigs of rosemary
2 TB of vanilla
add it all to a pot of water on the stove, let it come to a boil, turn it down to a simmer, and voila! magic is happening because…
lemons detox any lingering frustration; help curb indecisiveness; and can nudge us toward forgiveness. so, they’re great to have “in the mix” when you’re making new money moves!
rosemary has an impressive dossier – it is associated sharpening mental clarity, stoking courage, and enhancing money luck. add to that rosemary helps clear away negative energy – especially the “poor me” chatter that can disrupt that “hello, abundance!” momentum you’re stoking!
and finally, vanilla is one of the sweetest and most positive vibrations available to us – it promotes feeling relaxed and calm (buh-bye, stress!). once it’s swooning through your surroundings, it fills your energy with highly magnetic vibes. plus, its “likability” brings the trio together beautifully.
so, while you don’t need to know all of that to appreciate the signature scent of Williams-Sonoma, I find it can be incredibly motivating to work with when you understand the energy and potential you’re collaborating with – especially when it can be simple and significant! xo
