simple shui | how to stage your own success!

in my life before shui, i helped people figure out what they were trying to say and then say it well. the magic sauce is consistency — NOT diffusing your efficacy in tangents or diminishing your power chasing every single idea. it’s having a well-edited point of view and making that statement (over and over, if necessary), and shui is not so different. so, make like a spice girl and tell me what you want, what you really really want? and then, look around. is there confirmation of it in your environment?

one of my favorite Simple Shui suggestions is to repeat a theme that *matches* your intentions throughout your space. this doesn’t need to be ostentatious or fussy or over-analyzed; simple and straightforward will do the work quite nicely.

around here, you’d come upon a couple themes: (1) prayer beads, reminding me one thing at a time. (2) pops of black + white — design’s salt and pepper — influencing balance in my thinking + choices. (3) globes, globes, and more GLOBES to turn my wanderlust into unforgettable trips every year. (4) fresh flowers because every new bundle is a nod to “i’m worth it” energy. (5) and a little gold in every room for steady abundance + a hunch of plenty more coming my way!

none of it is overly pronounced or decadent, yet my intentions catch my attention around every corner. and that, love beams, is how we stage our own success! xo
