simple shui tip: move outta FEAR into FIERCE!

let’s tackle the proposition of fear that comes up when we want to make BOLD moves…and I am going to share a few ways you can work with your home to give you some help!

TIP ONE: if you struggle with fear that comes from the thought of not measuring up, pay attention to how high your art and mirrors are hung. when you don’t have things lording over you, it can feel like you are standing eye-to-eye with whatever it is you want to do!

TIP TWO: if you have a fear of showing up so you tend to procrastinate, start eliminating piles. for example, this might show up as stacks of books everywhere, so examine how *piles* show up in your design aesthetic.

TIP THREE: if a fear of the unknown gets the better of you, be mindful of what you might be hoarding. when we hoard and lean into excess, we attempt to satiate our need for security but actually condition our minds to believe we don’t have enough – and that keeps us thinking we’re not prepared enough. hoarding makes us believe we are in need, so we get stuck in a perpetual loop and never move out of the familiar into the new. and that, my loves, is how we end up in ruts. xo
