simple shui | why i trust shui magic
i was thinking this morning about ALL the things a shui lifestyle contributes here in our home. mind you, some of these benefits are immediate; others are an accumulated reward for doing the work diligently. what i know for sure is whether you dip into its waters or cannonball like you mean it, shui will sweeten your space enough for you to notice + feel its magnetic pull toward doing a little more. so rounding back to that list, here’s what shui contributes + cultivates here:
we all LOVE our collective + individual spaces.
the conversations within these walls are delicious — the kind that linger for days.
we rarely argue or yell.
everyone sleeps well.
creativity is regularly on tap.
we enjoy meals together every single day.
we are attuned to each room so much that when if one starts to feel a little off, we quickly dive into its needs.
we manage through changes + hiccups better than we did in those pre-shui days.
indulgences — like fresh flowers — are necessities, not special occasions, in our home.
we feel strengthened in our space, so when we step out into the world, we are vibing high.
when we hit a funk — remember, shui isn’t an inoculation — we rebound quicker.
everyone pitches in with household chores without grievances.
rituals are an important part of our day, and we each have our own that we anchor ourselves with + honor.
we feel loved by our home.
we feel good in this space and that absorbs into the floors + walls + land, and that energy is reciprocated back to us by our surroundings.
we feel comfortable and safe in every room.
three things you’ll find on steady rotation: music, laughter, and daily conversation.
we are able to easily release what no longer matches our needs +/or energy.
our house IS my ultimate accountability partner because she’s reflecting to me where things stand — every second of the day. and that chaperones my motivation like nothing else!
we live with what we LOVE. . .
which means LOVE lives here.
