Sweet Style

Feng shui is often confused for religion or mysticism. I like to quote Barry Gordon, a feng shui practitioner, who explains it as “the intelligent use of intention through environmental metaphor.”

But even this description can leave people hazy.

So, imagine my delight when one of my lovelies said this to me…

"I get that shelf, mom. Wanna know why?"

"DO TELL…"

"Because I see the sheets hanging. And then I see the white soap and clips, and I think about how good my blanket smells when you wash it. When I come in here, that's what I think about."

Carefully + thoughtfully chosen detail within a space can inspire enormous + powerful feelings.

She SEES + FEELS love. And my heart swelled.
