hello, Saint Ritual

lately, everyone has an opinion about what’s “safe” or “smart” right now — and I’m not immune to any of it. I read the weighty headlines and understand all the hesitations, but here’s a truth I’ve learned over two decades of building something from nothing:

growth (for me) has never come during perfect conditions. it comes out of brave decisions.

and opening Saint Ritual right now – a small business that exists to support small businesses — isn’t necessarily a ‘safe’ path. it’s a BIG bet…

on myself and Katie Tellor, on our vision, and on the mutual belief that beauty, ritual, and intention matter even more when the world feels uncertain.

I don’t know exactly how it will unfold, but I do know this:

while people are theorizing about what ‘should’ happen (shop small, support local, invest in handcrafted), we’re actually building that kind of space. so while it’s tempting (and perhaps logical) for some to hold back during turbulent times, we’re doubling down on what we believe in.

and honestly? I’m ridiculously proud of what we’ve created. I’m proud that we’re choosing courage over commentary AND community over caution.

because betting on ourselves doesn’t feel reckless. in my opinion, it’s leadership. and if we can uplift others along the way? it’s the best kind of risk there is. xo
