house therapy | does the TV stay…or should it go?

ask around, you’re likely to hear many Feng Shui experts say – without exception – that TVs in the bedroom are a “NO.”

and while it’s true they can potentially present a few challenges worth noting, as a practitioner, I am going to get curious first and then assess if those challenges are likely to crop up for my clients.

if you’ve been around simple shui, you know I don’t subscribe to “a one-size-fits-all” approach to Feng Shui and homes.

and that includes the presence of a TV in the bedroom.

if my client is sleeping well, their relationship(s) is thriving; and they LOVE their room – all with a TV in it – why would I suggest changing the room (and removing the TV) just for the sake of shui?

however…

if there are hints or obvious “opportunities” that suggest room for improvement, the first topic of conversation in the bedroom will be the TV.

I was recently interviewed about this by Homes & Gardens, and you can listen to this week’s episode of House Therapy, where I share a little more in-depth insight on ways to make a TV in the room work – if you don’t want to move it out!

one more thing…

if you’re listening and loving the weekly episodes of House Therapy, will you give us a glow up with your rating and review? every dose of attention gets other people’s attention, and we want everyone coming to this way for a little shui. and for all the sparkling notes already over there, THANK YOU! I LOVE every single of them and YOU! xo
