house therapy | what really matters in Feng Shui
if we were sitting across the table, coffee in hand, and I was being completely honest about Feng Shui, here’s what I’d tell you:
most people start in the wrong place.
beginner books lean hard on the bagua map – the nine-square grid that promises to show you where money, relationships, and career energy live in your home. and while the bagua is powerful, it isn’t where real change begins.

the truth is, what matters more are the things we tend to overlook:
• the energy outside your home.
• the pace you set when making changes.
• respecting both the practical and the symbolic.
• keeping adjustments simple.
• making them personal.
• caring for the space itself before adding anything new.
• and, most of all, practicing patience.
when you start here, Feng Shui shifts from overwhelming formulas into a practice that feels personal, powerful, and doable – and when you do bring in the bagua, it becomes a tool of precision, not a desperate fix.
