the real luxury of knowing Feng Shui
there are a lot of things I do in our home that I don’t really think about anymore.
I know when a room needs a little more energetic flair. I notice when something is creating drag. I can usually put my finger on any discord between what I’m seeing in a room and what I’m trying to accomplish in that area of my life.
and when something changes in my life – work feels all-consuming, money feels tight, someone isn’t sleeping well, we’re preparing for a BIG pivot – I know how to bring my house into the conversation.
I’ve been thinking recently about what a luxury that is.
despite what so many people assume on my behalf, our home is not perfect and knowing Feng Shui doesn’t mean everything in our lives goes according to plan. the only advantange I have (when the WTHs land on my doorstep) is I know where to begin immediately.
there is feeling something is off, and then there is feeling it and knowing what to do.
we might know to move 27 things, hang a wind chime, clean the windows, splurge on the flowers, and mind those power spots… but when you understand why those suggestions work, you eliminate a LOT of wandering around.
you’re not googling Feng Shui for career problems and trying a random list of five things that ‘might’ help. you’re not buying something because it ‘supposedly’ belongs in your Wealth corner. and you’re definitely not wondering whether you’re “doing Feng Shui right.”
you know how to look at your house, look at what’s happening in your life, and start making straightforward and smart changes.
I’ve been teaching TSSC all year (we have two live sessions left!), and here’s what I know for sure: learning shui from me isn’t about finally having a perfectly ‘arranged’ house. it’s learning resourcefulness. it’s knowing what you’re looking for and not waiting in limbo for your circumstances to change before you can change things.
THAT is what I’ve spent 20+ years learning, practicing and eventually pouring into The Simple Shui Course.
yes, you’ll learn the bagua, the Five Elements, command, chi, symbolism, placement and all the things you’d expect to learn in a serious Feng Shui course. what really matters to me, though, is you learn shui as a life skill, a lifestyle, and a way of life because shui is not meant to feel like you’re starting from scratch every time life hands you something.
every module I taught live this year (2026) is sitting inside the course right now, alongside the original curriculum. so, you’re not just getting the lessons themselves – you’re getting all the conversations, questions, examples, rabbit holes and real-life stories that happened while we worked our way through them together.
and those live module replays are a 2026 bonus. on December 31st, they disappear and The Simple Shui Course returns to its original self. come January, the course will still be the course I created and LOVE. right now, though? there is an entire extra year of me teaching it sitting inside.
