ritual 11: water bowl wealth ritual

earlier this week, I shared one of my favorite wealth rituals over on the ‘gram:

in your WEALTH area, place a bowl of water atop the largest bill you can comfortably spare and refresh the water every day for 27 days.

it is simple enough, but my comments and messages quickly filled with questions.

“what if my Wealth corner is a bathroom?”

“what do I do with the water every day?”

“what if my cat drinks it?”

“what if the sun doesn’t shine there?”

“what if I forget a day?” (you start over, by the way.)

and what I LOVE about all these questions is they all tell the same story: you are trying to figure out how to make it work in your own home!

(this is how shui works, by the way… every home, every person, every circumstance is different just enough – which is why shui thrives best in understanding the nuance!)

for more than twenty years, I’ve watched people approach shui thinking they need the perfect house, the perfect floor plan, the perfect circumstances, or the perfect cure before they can begin.

the thing is… shui is about engaging with your environment – consciously, intentionally, and deliberately – just as it is.

and the rituals I share, like this one?

they are pulling together a camaraderie of ingredients that merge superpowers. so, this bowl of water isn’t ‘magical’ because it’s a bowl of water. the magic happens from your daily engagement.

the water symbolizes fortune.

the currency represents your intention.

the 27 days create momentum.

but every day you return to it and replenish the water, you reinforce the idea that resources are available, renewable, and flowing. and because you’re practicing this ritual in your Wealth area, all of your attention on this intention is accumulating in the part of your home associated with resources, prosperity, and growth.

remember, wealth isn’t built in one grand gesture (or from one really ‘great’ shui tip).

it’s built in the choices, rituals, and patterns we return to again and again…and again. xo
