simple shui | q & a
a client / dear friend / mama-of-one wanting to become a mama-of-two recently emailed me, asking if i had any shui tips for conceiving.
you know i do!!!
while i’ve not personally used these as our lovelies arrived way before my shui days. . .
i have it on good authority from my shui mavens that this stuff works.
so. if you or a loved one are wishing for a bundle of joy, this post is especially for you.
1. clean your bedroom, remove any clutter hiding under the bed, flip the mattress, and move the bed a couple inches. all with the intention of becoming pregnant.
then.
do not disturb your bedroom energy again until you’ve brought baby home. no painting or remodeling, no DIY projects, and no vacuuming under the bed. anything that would indicate the room is sterile has the same meaning for you. remember, shui is metaphorical.
2. elephants are a sign of fertility so if you like them, put an image of one (or many) somewhere you glance daily. not sure how to work an elephant into your decor? buy a mini statue to set atop a pile of books, frame a print and tuck it on a shelf, or find a stuffed elephant to keep you company. any suggestion of this majestic creature will work wonders.
one caveat though. when using an elephant to symbolize fertility, choose one with its trunk down. this signifies storing and accumulating energy. and, it suggests pushing through whatever obstacles exist, making it the perfect match for any couple wanting a family.
3. create open space out the front door. nothing should be in direct line with your front door, like a tree. as mentioned here and there, the front door is considered the “mouth of chi” where all energy — including the bundle of joy kind — enters the home. strive to keep it clean, beautiful, and inviting.
4. sleep on green sheets.
5. consider buying a “baby” plant to represent new growth. and tend to it every day.
6. imagine your home with a tic-tac-toe board over it. if we wandered over to the middle of the right-hand side of your home (from your front door), we would be standing in the children/creativity area of your house. unleash some shui here as this is a sweet spot symbolically. display baby pictures + baby toys + a baby blanket + board books, even that stuffed elephant. anything that hints at having a wee one works wonderfully.
7. white flowers are the belle of the ball in the children/creativity area — white being the color associated with this area and flowers representing life.
so, fancy yourself a few shui cures and let the magic making commence!
