the lovelies | strawberry jam

things were antsy around here.

one week into summer, and we had not officially tackled anything on the list.

the lovelies: “gasp!”

me: “sigh. . .”

it was time to make our summer map operational.

since i had just read this cookbook and felt inspired by her jam recipe, i gathered my little women and off we went to fill our arms + basket with a medley of fresh fruit.

despite a quick swap of recipes last minute, we were ready to fly by the force of our ambition. . .

i am happy to report that other than exhausting the afternoon hours completely, we surprised ourselves when everything came together perfectly. we drank in the experience and relished crossing off our first summer 2013 goal.

with the elixir of our success still fragrant, our sense of play is heightened and we are eagerly ready to high dive into that volcanic list of ideas again. soon.
