inspired by | a february board

still relishing in the delight of our last board, i changed things up. . .slightly.

this list was my inspiration.

you know i believe words become the backdrop for the lives we create. so, what could possibly be better than flying through february on the wings of the most beautiful words in the english language?

whilst we hardly know every single word {my lovelies have already asked for a definition guide}, all of us are a wee bit excited to stitch these into our daily conversations. sometimes, the best part of the day is being sincerely smothered with gigantically golden words.

and because it’s a wild world around here, baby, we left some open space to add a few words of our own that dapple beautifully in this love shack we call home.

p.s. i always get emails asking about this chalkboard. so, here’s what you need to know. forever and a day ago, i went into home depot and bought a huge sheet of mason board — i wanted the smoothest texture for writing. at the time, chalkboard paint was JUST coming out so i bought a can of it from benjamin moore along with a can of magnetic paint. i did a couple coats of the magnetic paint first and once those layers dried, i applied the chalkboard paint. and, voila! board complete. since then, the color options have exploded + the paint integrity has improved. better yet? it’s even cheaper. so, if you are into diy, this is super easy + ridiculously inexpensive. have fun!
