hello, April!
’tis the first Friday of a brand-new month, heralding in the energy of spring. so, in the spirit of the season at the helm for breaking new ground, trying new things, and growing into new places, April’s list is full of ideas that energize and enable you to take off in whatever direction you’d like! think of it like shui showers bringing May flowers!
TIP ONE: make like a teenager and turn the music up, up, UP!
are you thinking, “how does this have anything to do with shui?”?
fair question, and two words: neural nostalgia. there’s just so much there to LOVE, but getting to the point – you feeling alive again (and again and again!) is always a GOOD thing for your home.
TIP TWO: clean your car
a car is one of life’s bigger purchases, something you likely make payments on regularly, right? if so, this means it is an investment of your resources, and how you treat it is an extension of how you value (or would value!) your money, time and investments.

TIP THREE: buy a new front door wreath
you know how I say, “keep something beautiful in every room. beauty elevates a space, and energy goes where the eye goes.” our eyes prowl for beauty, and when we find some, our delight unleashes a flurry of good vibes all around us – and when that happens at the front door, it *entrances* promising possibilities and opportunities into our lives.
TIP FOUR: hang a bird feeder
birds are a powerful symbol of opportunities, so keeping their company attracts financial invitations, auspicious news, and fabulous business and career luck. with alittle bird seed, you keep them (and all that luck) coming back.
TIP FIVE: simplify a routine
the clutter from our TO DOs distracts us from prioritizing our well-being – and the thing is we can’t do it all, all at the same time. if we do manage to pull that rabbit outta the hat, there’s a good chance we’re not doing all of it at the same time well.
so, choose what’s most important and stop “doing” what you’re not doing. my approach? this month, I am keeping my TO DO list to no more than 5 tasks a day. and instead of letting decision fatigue get the better of me, I am planning ahead for the everyday decisions (meals, errands etc.) on Sundays so that I can stay nimble every day!
