looking for a new home? here are 3 Feng Shui must-haves!

if a seed lands in rich, healthy soil… and if the sun and water are ample… and there isn’t too much wind… the seed will not only grow, it will thrive. if a seed lands, though, where one of those ingredients is missing, it will probably struggle. well…

you and me? we’re pretty much the same – except your house is where you land. and since we know environment influences outcome, we want a space that is primed for thriving!

so, here are 3 things you can check out as you look for your next home:

make sure the front door is visible. the front door is like a first impression and serves as our official greeter to the world. it’s where opportunity shows up in our lives. and it determines the kind of energy we attract into our lives. (opportunity and energy = job, love, life luck.) so, it is a BIG deal to be able to see the front door from the street. that way, you can then make sure it looks its best and reps you well!

pay attention to the space meant to be your bedroom. one of the most important spaces in a home is the bedroom. oftentimes, though, we prioritize the more public spaces of a home. but when we put off making the bedroom an equally important space, it has consequences. how? when we don’t prioritize this space, it suggests we don’t see ourselves as a priority. and if you don’t see yourself as a priority, how are you going to convince anyone to prioritize you when it comes to relationships, promotions, or anywhere else you deserve to be number one?

finally, take inventory of the windows. one of the simplest things we can do in a space is invite/cultivate high quality energy. think of this like a deposit in the bank. deposits of positive energy in our surroundings add up. and the more deposits we make, the better our house feels. and the better you feel at home, the better you feel as you walk out in the world. and when you feel good, anything is possible! what i LOVE about windows is they give us access to sunlight and fresh air – which are FREE and available on the daily! so, pay attention to the windows. and if a place lacks windows and/or the windows don’t open, hold out for that home with money in the bank potential! xo
