here’s my party of five

my hope and intention for every single client is to help bring order and beauty into their homes and lives in a magnified way.

and shifting a home into better flow rarely requires as much coin as clients expect.

instead, i rely on a few details that always leave me wanting more of them. so, here is my party of five tricks and treats to help you get your shui on right now.

rugs define space and create boundaries. they also bring layer and texture to any room.

fabrics – throws, pillows, carpet, towels, bedding, the (thread) count goes on – offer luxury, comfort and style. they lure you into a space, nudging self-care and love.

plants breathe life. literally. plants suggest good health and upward growth while they subtly reach, blossom and become more. inspiring, right?

lights – and we’re talking ceiling brights on dimmers, bistro twinkling lights, glowing candles, delightful lamps, spirited night lights, a yawning fire, even a prayer for Spirit’s white light. every light illuminates, navigates, and leads our way.

color can resonate so deeply, influencing mood and reinforcing happiness. color your world happy with paint, clothes, foods, art, flowers. . . find what you LOVE and surround yourself with it.

the shui rub here is to remember is each of these speak metaphorically to what’s going on in our lives.

so. . .

if you feel your boundaries are blurry, go for a rug.

if you crave inner guidance or clarity, add more light.

have a burning goal? a plant is symbolic of the maintenance and care you’ll need to dedicate to your goal.

life moving too quickly? create pools of oasis with blankets and pillows that seduce you into slowing down.

and since there is a mood for every color, decide how you want to feel and chase that color down.

make your moves with intention, and your love shack will be well on its way with some seriously good shui.
